While the popularity of the camera and the 1000's of RED jobs and massive industry adoption of the RED have created a lot of entities teaching RED in some fashion - none have been authorized by RED as the best practices that we believe should be taught. REDucation is what RED believes is the best way to learn the RED camera and RED post production techniques. REDucation is a full 5 day training including:
	RED TECH Hands-on training designed for learning on set practices with RED. Crafted for the Camera Assistants, DIT, Data Wrangler Roles and DP's that want to learn more about the art and science of RAW digital cinematography as it applies to their craft with a focus on the technical support roles that allow the DP to do his best work. Working with RED cameras in small group learning environments and qualified RED technicians as faculty, REDucation will teach the technology and best practices for on-set data workflows. REDucation will prep RED technicians on all aspects of working on RED productions of all scope and budget levels. The development of next Generation Scarlet and Epic cameras will also be presented and discussed, and there will be high resolution, theatrical screenings of various RED shot projects with discussions on set work practices of these projects. 	RED POST In-depth post training with RED technology. This training is designed for professionals working with Red in post production. You will learn the tools and practices from those working in Post Production on RED projects on a regular basis. File prep for dallies and editorial, color grading and finishing on multiple platforms will be explored and recommended practices will be taught in a fully hands on, "Learn with the tools" concept. Editing and finishing tools and techniques for RED post on TV commercials, Episodic TV, New Media and Web, Music Videos, all the way up to full on Theatrical Motion Picture will be taught.
